十二年前，金浩先生在四川省南部縣升鍾區親手點燃了燃燈助學的第一支燭光，自此後連續九年十次來川，升鍾庫區的山山水水到處都留下他的腳印和身影。近三年先生雖末親自蒞臨，卻時刻關心助學建校，嶇心瀝血，將自己的生命完全融入了燃燈助學的事業之中。…… 如今數百所燃燈小學轟立在川、黔，受惠於燃燈的學子遍布祖國各地，先生卻撒手人寰，怎不教人痛哉！哀哉 ！

Twelve years ago, Mr. Chen started the Enlightening Education Program at the San Jun ku area in Sichuan. After that he came to visit us every year for 9 years. He left us with many beautiful memories of him. During the last couple of years he could not come in person any more, but his heart still went to the Program, the construction of the new schools, and the distribution of the scholarship. He had devoted his whole life to the Program. Now that we have hundreds of schools in Sichuan, Guizhou, and the students who had been supported by the Program are all over the county, but he’s gone forever!

我們聽到燃燈小學學生們朗朗的讀書聲，看見數名小學、中學、大學生正在受助的學校裡努力學習，力圖改變自己命運的身影。覺得金浩先生就在他們的身邊親切的注視著每一個孩子。

When we hear the loud voices of the students reading and when we see how hard they are trying to change their fates, I can feel that Mr. Chen is watching over them from a distance.

陳金浩先生親手創建的事業日益發達，燃燈的燭光已連成一片並還在不斷擴大。他關心和資助的杜雪慧大學畢業後回到家鄉在中學教書育人，將燃燈精神傳遞發揚；敬明礁高中畢業入武漢水電大學畢業一年後，又考上成都電子科技大學碩士班，劉君文今年已是中國礦業大學四年級生了，明年就要走上工作崗位，他經常惦記的店埡小學的孤兒姚丙林，今年考入了重慶醫科大學！還有師範大學畢業的賀英、張洪春、羅瑜瓊、李紅娜、楊楷都站在各自中學的講臺上，開始了新的生活。張洪春還主動要求至甘孜藏族地區文教工作一年……。

This great project that Mr. Chen initialized is getting bigger and better each day. The little candles that he lighted have turned out brighter and reached further. Du Xuehui, one of the girls he supported him and always cared about, had graduated from college and went back to her hometown to be a teacher to keep the spirit of the program. As for the other students, Jing Mingchiao, has also graduated from college, and is now in graduate school. Liu Junwen is a senior in the college and will soon devote himself to the job market. Yao Binglin the orphan that he always asked about, is going to medical school this year. The other students who went to teachers college like Ho Ying, Zhang Hunchun, Lou YuQiong, Li Hongna and Yang Kai are all teachers now. Zhang Hunchun has even made a special request to go to the Tibetan area to work for one year.
　　金浩先生的心血澆灌出豐碩成果，他可以安心含笑九泉了。
揮沮繼承先生志，燃燈自有後來人。
